I'm Back

I just got back from Mayo yesterday. I am completely exhausted from all of my testing, but I got the results back from most of my tests and they pretty much looked normal. The doctors all told me that I was doing a good job with my diet and that I looked like I was doing well. I also really liked my doctors and enjoyed my appointments. It was a great experience and it was very educational.

We are glad to hear that you made its back and that it was educational for you. Did you get your answers? Are you still taking Reliv? Thanks for your response about 'brain fog'. It helps me understand how she feels and reacts to situations.

Angie,
I did learn a few answers. I learned that I am doing things right and that if I just stay on my diet, I should be good for now. I really think that it would be good if Sabra went to Mayo because I think that the doctors there would be able to help her if she is still having problems. The pediatric department was amazing and all of the doctors were phenomenal. I really enjoyed them and am sure that the GI specialist that I met with would try to help you.

I am no longer taking Reliv. I actually haven't taken it since that first time. It tasted so horrible that it made my stomach hurt worse when I took it than I did before. I just couldn't handle it. If you want to try it, you can, but I don't really recommend it. The doctors that I talked to at Mayo weren't sure that it would really do anything for celiac disease, but if anything else might be the problem, you could try it.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. I would love to tell you about my experiences if I hear that anything sounds similar to them.
